Just bought a Google Nexus One phone, which runs Android 2.1. My previous phone was a Nokia E90, which runs Symbian 60.
I tried bluetoothing a contact entry across, but all I get from the E90 is 'sending failed' - this even happens when sending to my desktop PC.
All I want to do is transfer the contacts from one phone to the other. The Nokia PC Datasuite is a Windows based application, which is capable os syncing with Outlook. It is my understanding that there is a similar application for the android operating system, however, I am not a Windows user, so I need to find an alternative way of doing things.
I have more information stored in the contact entries, than just names and numbers, for example, I have a photo stored for each user. This means that text transfers such as using CSV exports will not pull everything across. The VCF file format, however, does encode and include pictures.
Ideally, I want a central store of all my contacts, so that I can keep my phone and desktop permanently synced.
