- Update OpenAtv via built-in menus
- Create bespoke Satellites.xml file here: http://satellites-xml.org/ to include just the satellites required.
- Using ftp and telnet, transfer the satellites.xml file to the OpenAtv box (/etc/tuxbox)

Internal Hard Disk Installation
- Install internal disk
- Make sure that when the power is applied, you hear the disk spin up
- If not, try the other power connector
- With the remote, press the blue button, and select Hard Disk
- Format, and then convert to ext4

- Using ftp and telnet, copy the ipk file to /tmp
- With the remote, press the blue button, and select Plugins/Install IPK
